History
In 2015 after research and prototyping in cooperation with the Technical and science university of Trondheim the owners started Blueye Robotics AS. Their goal was to further develope multipurpose underwaterdrones. Their first product was the Blueye Pioneer.
Blueye Pioneer:
The Blueye Pioneer underwaterdrone with a depth range of 150mtr is a very stable and userfriendly inspection platform due to it vertical design. Combined with the automatic heading and automatic depth function it makes the Blueye Pioneer incredibily easy to use without excessive training. Controling the underwaterdrone through a free app that connects to any IOS and Android tablet or smartphone.

The combination of the 1080p HD camera with the very powerfull LED lights (3300 lumen) you will remain a perfect view even in murcy or deep water. The underwaterdrone is contolled through the free Blueye App where also the drone settings like camera and light setting can adjusted during the dive.
January 2020, Release of the Blueye Pro:
In addition to the Blueye Pioneer now the Blueye Pro is introduced. The Blueye Pro has a depth range of a remarkable 305mtr instead of the 150mtr of the Pioneer. The Blueye Pro is set with a tiltable 1080p HD camera that makes sure you never miss anything during the inspection.
The LED lights with 3300 lumen are adapted to a CRI of 90%. This creates a even better image and video color balance when working in murcy water and great depths.
